We've been visiting Jeffrey's Bay annually for the past 17 years, we've stayed at a number of establishments. Dirkie's Dream is by far the best place we have stayed. The service staff are friendly and Sonia, the owner, goes out of her way to ensure that you have a fantastic stay.
Dirkie's Dream comes highly recommended.

Hierdie was ons eerste besoek aan Jeffrey's. Baie dankie Sonia dat jy ons so welkom laat voel het. Ons het in eenheid 1 gebly en daar is werklik nie iets waaroor ons kan kla nie. Ons is voorsien van drinkbare water, ons eenheid is elke dag skoongemaak, en linne, Handoeke ens vervang. Fantastiese see uitsig, loopafstand van winkels. Ons wou nie huistoe gaan nie! Was lekker om te hoor waar die naam vandaan kom, ouma Dirkie se droom en hoe sy gewerk het om dit waar te maak. En Sonia wat dit laat voortleef. Só kosbaar. Kan nie wag om terug te gaan nie.

Thank you Sonia and Dirkies Dream for an absolutely amazing holiday. The accommodation was fantastic and you were so attentive and surpassed all our needs before we even thought of them. I definitely recommend this as your only option to stay in Jeffrey’s Bay, if you looking for a place right on the beach with east access to restaurants and supermarkets. Thanks again – hopefully we will be back soon!

Ons gesin en familie het die afgelope 5 jaar die voorreg gehad om 3 of 4 keer per jaar by Dirkies Dream vakansie te gaan hou. Daars nie woorde om die fantastiese geriewe, wat selfs steunkrag insluit, of die asemrowende uitsig en Sonia se hartlike gasvryheid te beskryf nie. Elke personeellid en eenheid is spesiaal. Ons is altyd opgewonde om weer by Dirkies Dream te gaan ontspan. Bewys jouself 'n guns en doen dit sommer vandag nog!

Dirkies Dream is honestly the best place we have stayed at in Jeffreys Bay. Sonia is a lovely, friendly and welcoming hostess – nothing is ever too much trouble for her and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean apartment and amazing sea views made our stay really enjoyable. Spar, Clicks, shops & Nina's restaurant a few minutes walk away across the road. A truly special, wonderful place and we will definitely be back!

Dirkies Dream is honestly the best place we have stayed at in Jeffreys Bay. Sonia is a sweet, lovely, friendly and welcoming hostess – nothing is ever too much trouble for her and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean apartment and amazing sea views made our stay really enjoyable. Spar, Clicks, shops & Nina's restaurant a few minutes walk away across the road. A truly wonderful, very special place and we will definitely be back!

Heerlike verblyf met die mooiste uitsig. Sonia is 'n ongelooflike gasvrou. Ons kom elke jaar weer terug hierheen. Sien sommer uit na 2023.

Ons het nou al by baie plekke gekuier en orals getoer, maar Sonja se Dirkies Dream bied jou die volmaakte vakansie. Ek kan haar plek met gerustheid aanbeveel want as dit kom by netheid en vriendelikheid kort daar niks.Die see is op jou voorstoep en kan jy lekker op die stoep sit en dit geniet, stap strand langs of baljaar in Jeffreys se branders. O ja, moet nie dink jou motor staan buite in die seelug nie want jy kry die gebruik van n toesluit motorhuis, waar kan jy beter?? "LOOK NO FUTHER"

Dirkie’s Dream is awesome. The best self-catering place we have every stayed in. What impressed us was the neatness, safety and how well it was equipped for self-catering (more than what we expected).
The view of beach was magnificent and best of all you are a few steps away from it.
Not to mention the hostess, Sonja. Her hospitality is out of the world. She goes out of her way to make your stay is comfortable. Always there to accommodate your needs.
We had a memorable time. All thanks to Sonja and her place Dirkie’s Deam !
We will definitely be back…Looking forward to our next visit. 😃

With the Grace of God, I had the honour to visit Dirkie’s Dream during February 2022 and it truly is and was a unforgettable experience and a dream that came true.
I can undoubtedly attest to the fact that the hostess, Sonja, is a woman of impeccable character. She manages the self-catering guest house with so much passion and drive. She truly goes out of her way to make sure guests are comfortable and that the units are super clean, comfortable and everything that one needs (and more) is available. The super white linen made a lasting impression on me. The attention to detail to make sure that everything in the unit is flawless, earns the highest quality rating available. It does not matter which unit one takes; the beach views are all breath taking and the beach front literally a few steps away. The location of the guest house is perfect as literally everything such as shops, restaurants, butchery, laundry, etc are all within walking distance. To be honest, words cannot do justice to this breath-taking accommodation and professionalism of Sonia and staff. Sonia, God Willing, we will be back next year for a full three weeks.

Ons het n droomvakansie gehad saam met ons kinders en kleinkinders! Ons verblyf en uitsig was van die beste en geen moeite is ontsien om behulpsaam te wees met enige van ons versoeke nie. Dankie Sonia, ons sal verseker weer by Dirkie's Dream kom kuier. Hoogs aanbeveel!

My parents and I had a quick Easter getaway to Dirkie's Dream. It was everything I hoped for and more. The views are stunning! The unit is luxury personified. Sonia is a fantastic host. Do yourself a favor, and just go check it out yourself – you will not be sorry! 5 stars! Thank you Sonia for making this breakaway exactly what we needed. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

We recently had a small intimate family wedding at Dirkies Dream. Sonia and her team made us feel welcome and our wedding day on the sand in front of Dirkies Dream was absolutely perfect.
The accommodation is so comfortable and combined with the outstanding views made this the perfect choice.

This was my first visit to Dirkies Dream. It was above what I expected. The accommodation is immaculate and all COVID regulations are adhered to. The staff was very professional and the hostess, Sonia was friendly and accommodating. The views are magnificent. I will definitely be visiting there again.

First time we stayed in Unit 4. It was a foul-weather weekend but that did not bother us. We always love staying at Dirkie's Dream. With beautiful views from all of the units and comfortable living spaces, who can ask for more.😍
